Same-Day F-01 CoF Appointment Hack in NYC

Need an F-01 card by tomorrow? The city booking site says “next available 6 weeks out”… but there’s a back door most people never notice.

We’ve booked same day slots for 300+ guards using a combo of browser timing and a little known cancellation list. Below is the exact script we email to new hires (and you can steal it).

Step 1: Hit the Portal at 3:50 PM

FDNY releases cancelled slots at 4:00 PM sharp. Log in ten minutes early, refresh the calendar at 3:59 and again at 4:00:15. Slots pop up for the next morning and disappear within 90 seconds.

Use Chrome incognito; the site throttles repeat requests from the same IP. If you see a 9:30 AM opening, slam “Book” and don’t blink, literally.

Step 2: Bring the Exact ID Combo

They want TWO forms: government photo + social security proof. Print your SS card; a photo on your phone gets rejected and you lose the slot.

Bring a black ink pen and the confirmation email printed. Security will not scan QR codes from your phone. Old school paper wins every time.

Step 3: Pre-Test Hack on the Subway Ride

You can find a free 20-question quiz online and run it twice. Questions repeat, just word-flipped. Score 80% on the train and you’ll breeze past the 70% city cutoff.

Arrive 30 minutes early; late arrivals forfeit the seat and a small fee. Yes, they keep the money.
